The Hungry Caterpillar
We are a family run traditional greengrocer. We have been established just over two years. The village of Dipton had seen a decline in retail outlets over the last few years, our aim when we opened was to turn this trend around, providing the local community with a retail outlet which would enable them to have easy access to a wide selection of high quality fresh fruit and vegetables.
Fruitful Durham
Established in the summer of 2012, Fruitful Durham puts local surplus apples to good use.
We pick and process unwanted produce. If you have a glut of fruit you can't use, we can help you harvest it and turn it into juice.
We run courses in grafting, pruning and looking after fruit trees and also offer gardening services.
