Established in the summer of 2012, our co-operative Community Interest Company puts local surplus fruit and vegetables to good use, and increases access and availability of fruit and vegetables in the community.

Claypath Delicatessen is a Café and Delicatessen offering a wide range of carefully sourced produce to eat in and to take away for Breakfast and Lunch
We have sourced produce from Spain, Italy, Greece, France and the UK.
We endeavour to source produce locally where possible and have a fantastic range of local cheese, chutneys, bread, oils and desserts from Durham, Cumbria and Northumberland.

Lanchester Dairies is the largest independent dairy in the North East of England, totally in local ownership. We are the local hub for 21 local Asda stores and also supply milk, cream and ice cream to local Tesco stores. We also own "Bill 'n' Geoff's" ice cream produced on our site.

New Close Farm Shop has a great range of local, organic and traditional produce and goods.  We produce our own fruit and vegetables as well as sourcing from local and organic sources.  We also produce, or locally source, traditional breeds of beef, pork and lamb as well as free-range poultry and it's all processed in our own butchery.  We make our own sausages, burgers, bacon, etc.
