Highside Farm produces traditional rare breed meat from breeds that were found locally in the past including Teeswater sheep and Shorthorn cattle.
Delicious Free Range pork, sausage and bacon from our pedigree Oxford Sandy & Black Pigs. Our pigs are an old English breed of pig, originally from Oxfordshire and are classed as a rare breed pig. They produce the most wonderful succulent and tasty pork, once tried you will not go back to supermarket pork.
We produce high quality meat from extensively reared stock. We rear the stock naturally, in a high welfare organic system. The breeds we use are noted for their meat quality.
A recent addition to the farm is a herd of Boer goats, which have been bred for their meat production. This is proving to be a very interesting adventure!
The Moody Baker is an artisan bakery set in the heart of Teesdale. We have made it our mission to create excellent food from natural, local, organic and fair traded ingredients.
